I've often heard those stories in the past about one act of kindness sparks a chain reaction of kind deeds, in the end doing a full loop back the person who started it in the first place. Definitely a positive form of karma.

I am posting another post about this because of the good feedback I've received. I would like to do another post in the future of life stories, from you, about practicing random kindness. Be it small or large please tell me about it. In the future I will compile the stories in another post, so you all can read and share real life stories of people randomly being kind.

So my challenge to you -- be kind to someone or something out there and tell me about it.

Please email me your story -- nathanseesit@gmail.com

I see it... do you?
-Nathan

Kindness

We've all had those days where nothing seems to be going wrong, or necessarily right for that matter, but the day is normal, good, bad, chaotic, whatever it might be. What I'm about to talk about was sparked by a small event here at work today, on a quite normal day for me when someone was rude for no good reason. I've always believed how much easier life can be at work if you stay professional, fair, take constructive criticism in a positive way and deal it back in the same manner.

I decided to write about this subject not aiming it towards work, but really life in general.

Part of my job deals with supporting a decent sized application which is vital to the business. Every time I fix an issue or help another employee with this application I remain professional, even on my grumpy days, I'll always reply with dignity. Today a user replied back and was completely rude for no good reason, maybe just because he was having a bad day, but just because the stars aligned our paths today he had to push some of his bad fortune my way. It took all I had in me at the time to reply with kindness, and after I did, and every time I do in this situation, I feel like the better person.

This sparked a little light which used to be a big flame inside me. The act of random kindness. In my recent adventure with life to better my self, my surroundings, and the people my life touches, kindness is just about the most important part of this.

"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. "
       - Leo Buscaglia

Too many times have I driven past a stranded driver with a flat tire, or too few people trying to push a stalled car across an intersection. My first thought is ALWAYS "Should I stop and help them?" ... ... I continue driving before I know its too late to turn around and display my random act of kindness. I can't tell you how i regret this every time I don't help. And the times I do help I cannot describe just how good it feels, its a rush of adrenalin almost equivalent to the after feeling of an amazing work out. There really is nothing like it.

Smile more, speak kind words, provide a listening ear, and care while doing it. It almost seems too simple doesn't it? Well it really is. :)

"Be the change you want to see in the world"
       - Ghandi

We all have bad days, we all have days we are not in the best of moods, and most the time on these days you are not even close to the mood to provide any magnanimous acts. I have found for me to provide a random act of kindness is the quickest cure. If someone is unpleasant to me, I will not play their same game and portray the same attitude back. So I'm going to try my best to spread and live by this -- Practice Random Kindness.

"My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness."
       - The Dalai Lama

Kindness is my seed to happiness and success.

I see it... To those people who wish to travel this road, all i can say to them is stop thinking about it, stop wishing it, get up and do it.

Once I get up and do it, I then feel amazing. It takes incredible actions to do incredible things. Motivation can be hard to find, but just like taking a bath, I recommend taking a dose every single day!

I started the second phase of P90X last night, it started with a Chest, Shoulders and Triceps work out. Was a really good work out, like all the P90X workouts are. Some new moves, new muscles, and my arms felt like jello the whole time.

I also took my phase 1 after pictures, I was pretty impressed with the results.
Not huge, but very noticeable, which I'm happy about. My stomach still needs a lot of work to get my abs to stand out, but in due time I'm confident it'll head that way.

On top of that I've lost 10lbs!! Almost to my floating weight, where I want to stay only to trim up the body fat and add on the muscle. I'm really doing it!

I see it... Do you?
-Nathan

P90X Week 3

Finished up week 3 last night.
I've noticed improvement in a lot of areas, I can endure and last longer.
Its very satisfying when you notice results like this, I can also tell my body is starting to tone up. My legs are just about as tight as they were when I played soccer, if not more. I can see my abs starting to define, although this is an area I think i need a lot of improvement in to see the results I wish to see in the end. I can do more pull-ups, an area I still struggle with, but gaining ground on!

Some days are high and some are low, some you wonder if you'll ever see results and others you don't care as long as you give it your best. The important thing here is that I head to my basement each and every night and hit that play button. I know after every work out I'll feel awesome even if I really don't want to start the workout to begin with. Its my mind over my body and its working. Its a lot of dedication and hard work, its paying off already and will pay off even more the longer I take this.

I'm very proud I've made it this far, and I cannot wait to see more results!!!

I wanna take this far to motivate others to do the same, I cannot wait until people ask me how I did it and I can tell them my story.

I see it... Fortunately, you don’t have to fry — many cooking techniques seal in flavor while keeping out extra fat and calories.
These easy tips will keep unwanted fat and calories out of your meat, poultry, and fish:

Always trim any fat you can see. Even lean cuts may be sold with fat on the edges —simply use a sharp knife to remove it. Before cooking chicken or turkey, pull all the skin off.

Add fish to your diet. Certain thick cuts of fish like tuna have a steak-like texture meat eaters might enjoy. Most fish are excellent healthy choices. Fatty fish like salmon, trout, and herring are extra good for you because of their omega-3 fatty acids.

Let hidden fat drain away from meat. Placing roasts and similar cuts on a rack in your cooking pan allows the fat to drip away as the meat cooks.

Choose healthy cooking methods. Use cooking techniques that don’t add calories, such as roasting, grilling, and poaching; avoid deep frying.

Look for healthy recipes that add flavor without fat and calories. As an example, use chopped herbs or sesame seeds rather than breadcrumbs for a breading-like crust. Some seeds and nuts, like flaxseeds and walnuts, provide essential fatty acids, while others, like sunflower seeds, almonds, and hazelnuts, are good sources of vitamin E and provide some protein. Nuts and seeds can be ground and used instead of a heavy breading.

Cooking Techniques That Cut Fat and Preserve Taste
Watching your weight and your health doesn’t mean that a dry chicken breast is your only option — far from it. These cooking techniques offer great flavor and lend themselves to easy recipes that use an herb or broth base and no added fat.

Roasting. All types of protein can be roasted, or baked, in the oven. This method lends itself to cooking a whole chicken, turkey, or fish, or a beef rib roast or pork shoulder. Dietician Susan Kraus, MS, RD, of Hackensack University Medical Center, in New Jersey, suggests using a cut of meat with a little more fat, because roasting tends to dry out meat. To keep juices or sauces locked in so food stays moist, cover the roasting pan. “Poultry that is cooked without the skin and fish fillets that are very low fat would need to be cooked in a moist medium (like a broth) and covered, while chicken parts that might have skin on them or a more fatty fish, like a salmon or sea bass, could be cooked uncovered, at least for part of the cooking process,” says Kraus. Experiment with herbs and spices to flavor meat — without adding calories. Look for easy recipes for dry rubs, usually herb and spice mixtures, that coat the meat's surface.

Grilling. Most people think of grilling on an outdoor barbecue or smoker, but grilling really involves any method that uses radiant heat from underneath the food, giving it crispy edges. (Broiling is another cooking technique that uses high heat, usually from above, in the oven.)
“All foods taste great on the grill,” says Kraus. “Again, as with roasting in an oven, the chef needs to exercise caution in making certain the food doesn't dry out and is cooked slowly, so it doesn't burn.” You can do this by pre-cooking chicken in the microwave or covered in the oven before throwing the meat on the grill to achieve the barbecue taste.
Kraus suggests placing pieces of fish in a grill rack in order to keep them tender and prevent them from falling apart. She adds that lean cuts of meat are best grilled, since any fat will drip off. First marinate your meat, chicken, or large fish steaks or thick fillets, then baste them regularly to retain the taste. Also be sure to monitor the flame on your grill so you can control the speed of cooking. The goal is to cook the meat or fish evenly on the inside, while preventing it from burning on the outside.

Stir-frying and sautéing. When you prepare food in an open cooking pan, the technique is called sautéing; use a wok and it’s stir-frying. Either way, you can cook food in a small amount of oil — be sure to choose one of the healthy unsaturated types, such as olive, canola, peanut, sunflower, or safflower — or just use cooking spray. Because you're using only one pan for both the protein and the veggies, these methods make for easy cleanup. Be sure to slice or a dice all of your ingredients, so the nutrients stay in the veggies. Says Kraus, “What is also nice about this way of cooking is you can use various types of veggies for flavor, and you don’t have to add a ton of sauce to give the food a wonderful taste.”

Poaching. This healthy cooking technique involves barely covering food in liquid that is brought to a simmer, rather than a boil -- between 160 and 180 degrees. Use a covered cooking pan or pot large enough for the food to be placed in one layer only. You can enhance the flavor of the liquid by using broth, wine, spices, and soup-stock vegetables like onions, celery, leeks, and carrots. Though poaching is probably the least popular cooking method, says Kraus, it keeps whatever protein you cook very moist. Salmon or other thick pieces of fish are perfect for poaching — and poaching chicken cutlets keeps them moist. “Cooking in this fashion is virtually fat-free since a fluid medium, like a broth or tomato base, is used,” says Kraus. Note that after cooking, you usually remove the food from the poaching liquid, which can be discarded.

Stewing. This slow-cooking method involves placing all your ingredients in liquid, but it's different from poaching because the liquid often becomes part of the finished dish or can be used as a light sauce. You can fill your pot with plenty of veggies and a protein. Kraus recommends using lean cuts of meat, as well as chicken or seafood, since this is moist cooking and will tenderize the food. If you do use a fattier cut of meat, you can precook it, then drain all the fat from the pot before adding other ingredients.

Experiment with these healthy cooking techniques, and you’ll soon savor the natural taste of foods, enhanced with fresh herbs and spices rather than butter and other fats.

P90X Week 2

Well I'm done with week 2, and today starts week 3.
I must admit, when ever something goes week by week it seems to fly by and I kind of cannot believe I'm 2 weeks into this. I follow my school schedule week by week and its incredible how fast its gone by. I'll be done with P90X before I know it, and at this rate I'll probably start it over; because i love it.

I cannot say week 2 was any easier than week 1, and maybe some points were more difficult because of my weeks schedule and of course constantly being sore. :) But I am noticing small improvements in certain areas, like pull-ups which I've never been that great at. With this workout I've learned a pull-up isn't all in the arms, which I thought it was before, but its in the core of your body, your chest and back. With P90X I am seeing improvements in my core like I never have and I think I'm quickly heading to the best shape of my life. I've never given 2 thoughts about my back muscles, and now I'm rather excited to see progress in my back!! A little strange for me and being excited about something like this, but I like it.

I've stepped my diet into a heavy protein diet, with moderate servings in other areas like veggies, fruits, and carbs and a recovery drink for after work outs. If I'm going to mess around with something like P90X I might as well go all the way, right?

I see it... do you?
-Nathan

Shakeology

So in the P90X nutrition plan it talks about recovery drinks and supplements, which is very important for any work out program. But my friends Brian Hin (http://hinhealthandfitness.blogspot.com/) which I also mentioned earlier introduced me to Shakeology, its really a nutritional protein shake, but not only does it have protein it has a Ton of other vitamins and supplements which are good for you. The idea is to just drink 1 shake in place of 1 meal every day.

I am also 1 week into taking Shakeology, and I feel great -- not to mention how good it tastes if you have the correct recipe. :)

If you want to check it out, you can also get it through Brian Hin's blog or go to this link -- http://myshakeology.com/esuite/home/brianhin

Great stuff!

I see it... do you?
-Nathan

P90X Day 4 to 7 and 1 week down.

This week was a busy week so I did not have much time to blog. Got my finals in for my last two classes, they took a lot of time so lets hope I did well!

Day 4 to 6 included the work outs Yoga X, Back and Legs and Kenpo X. Out of the three, the one I had the most difficulty keeping up with was the Yoga work out. I've always heard Yoga is a lot more difficult than it looks, so i was a little prepared mentally but it still was very difficult, but I felt amazing the morning after.
Really looking forward to improving in this area.

Day 5 was Legs and back, it was a lot of different lunges and leg work outs as well pull ups for the back, again a very hard work out, I did not enjoy this one like the others but I'm sure I'll grow to like it.

Day 6 was Kenpo, which is a type of karate, I guess if you picture the kick boxing work outs, its some what similar with some very unique moves and work outs -- I love this work out, I was able to keep up the entire time which made me feel good!

Day 7 was a welcome rest day, which I needed the entire day to complete my homework so that worked. :)

Now its the start of week 2, which is a repeat of week 1, I don't think I'll update every day but we'll see!

Until then!

I see it... do you?
-Nathan

P90X Day 3

After the first 2 days I thought my whole body was sore, but I was wrong. The shoulders and arms work out proved to me once again I had muscles I didn't know existed, and they are also sore. :)
Day 3 also included Ab Ribber X, which is a mean mean ab work out, its only about 15 min, but in that 15 min. you do over 300+ moves. Insane!

First the shoulders and arms consisted of an hour work out working nothing but your triceps, biceps and shoulders. I did pretty good keeping up here, but of course have a lot of room to improve, I can feel the progress coming and am excited to prove it.

The Ab work out was crazy, some of the moves consisted of holding your legs 1-2 inches off the ground while doing some type of sit up -- My legs are still sore from plyometrics so this proved very difficult and I could barely keep up with most of this work out. Every set I always made sure I felt the burn before I had to break.
My abs also have a lot work to go, but again I can feel the progress in the pain and am excited for it!

I see it... do you?
-Nathan

P90X

For what I can remember, and for that I feel I can safely say this, there's only ever been one work out program that's really caught my attention; be it from late night infomercials to dvd's at the local Walmart. From my experience of talking aloud of P90X most people have at least heard of it by now, and most people chuckle when I say "I'm gonna give it a shot".

So there it is - P90X - yes I am currently giving it a shot. For the last 6 weeks, for my lunch break at work, I've been hitting the gym to prepare my body, mainly cardiovascular, for the upcoming 90 days of intensity. My first few days on the elliptical at the gym just about killed me, only the gods know how many continuous days I've been inactive sitting in front of various cubicles around Utah. Alas, I've been very proud that now i can maintain a healthy heart rate, push it for 30 minutes, and want to go longer, although my lunch break would never allow it. I wanted to catch my self before it got more difficult to overcome my lazy past few years. I found my hidden motivation(s) (which we all have) and now I'm doing something about it.

Its amazing what the last 6 weeks alone have done for me, my attitude, my energy, my motivation, my view on life, has really all changed. I can actually stay awake and alert in meetings and concentrate on the dull aspects of my job, and I'm definitely a lot more confident in my self.

But I'm not done here, this is a new me, this is a me who wants to inspire you.

Anyhow, lets move on to P90X.
The methodology, muscle confusion, always did make sense to me, but I was never a real believer until I met and saw a real before and after -- Brian Hin, one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet. Very inspiring to me when I actually saw an incredible before and after and met someone who really did it, and really did it 100% naturally on his own. Then I figured out I could do it on my own as well -- So here I am.

You can check his (Brian Hin) story out on his blog -- http://www.hinhealthandfitness.com/

Day 1 of P90X, Monday, March 1st 2010.

The day started off early, 6am for my first Chest and Arms work out. It started rough as I downed some milk and cheerios before the work out, which I tell you this now, I will never do again in my entire life. You should eat at least 1 hour before any of these P90X workouts unless you are looking for the meal to quickly come back up.

It was a very very hard work out, consisted of mainly different forms of push ups after pull ups after push ups. Now normally I can do a decent amount of push-ups, but at the quick rate of this work out it proved increasingly difficult to do 10 reps of each -- not to mention, but i will, the churning milk in my stomach did not help my goals.

Since I've been so used to heading to the gym at lunch time during work, I decided the head to the gym and try to repeat the work out i just partook in at 6 am earlier that morning. I didn't realize how sore I was just from the morning and pushed it pretty hard again. Trust me, I was paying for it later that night. Then I forgot I commited to a indoor soccer game the same night, and this game happend to be at 11 p.m.
Needless to say i definetly over did it this day, and my body gave out during the soccer game.

Day 2 of P90X, Monday, March 2st 2010.

This day was my first experience in a work out technique called plyometrics, for those of you who don't know what it is this is quoted from Wikipedia --

"Plyometrics is a type of exercise training designed to produce fast, powerful movements, and improve the functions of the nervous system, generally for the purpose of improving performance in sports. Plyometric movements, in which a muscle is loaded and then contracted in rapid sequence, use the strength, elasticity and innervation of muscle and surrounding tissues to jump higher, run faster, throw farther, or hit harder, depending on the desired training goal. Plyometrics is used to increase the speed or force of muscular contractions, providing explosiveness for a variety of sport-specific activities."
Tony Horton said this work out is the X in P90X and he was not kidding. The pace and movements of this work out is crazy, and my legs are still burning a day after doing it. I must say I had a ton of fun doing it and I think everyone should try it! :) I took a little longer breaks than Tony Horton did on the work out dvd, he only gives you 30 sec. but allows you to take 45 to 1 min with hitting the pause button of course, and trust me I did. So I hope next week will be easier, from what I read it should be.

So tonight is day 3, I believe its shoulders and arms but i'm not fully sure until I check my calendar. I'm tired and I'm sore but I'm not going to stop -- Tomorrow I'll report on the work out and also talk a little on Shakeology.

In 90 days i'll post my before and my after pictures -- Get excited, because I am!

I see it, do you?
-Nathan

Simple

<div style="FLOAT: right; I finally decided on an iced White Chocolate Mocha, Grande please.
Once the little old lady started to conjure up the drink, she than rang up the price... which i really do not remember now.... but I reached into my pocket for my wallet, or lack there of.
I forgot my wallet at home!!! I ran out to my car holding onto that small chance it was there, of course, it was not! I walked back into the store with my head hung low and full of disappointment; I won't be experiencing that wonderfully cold, refreshing, and delicious taste of coffee and white chocolate filling my mouth with joy and happiness. The zing of caffeine will not be rolling over my tongue, will not be falling down my throat and filling my stomach, and will not stream through my veins of despair anytime soon.

I turned around after delivering her the package of bad news, "Stop" I hear, so I turn back around and she hands me the cup of life, the cup of goodness, the cup of iced white chocolate goodness for free. "I've already made it, so its on the house!" she says.
I thank her a few times and head home with my smile.

I get home, find my wallet and head back to the Midvale Starbucks to pay for my drink.

I walk in the store, to a surprised face behind the counter plastered on the little old coffee lady.

"I came back to pay for my drink, and I need one more for my princess at home"

She basically replied with... "who does that? who comes back to pay for something they were given for free..." ... yes... Seeing all these faces I recognize but not always remembering names, and struggling to pull up small talk. But over all it was a great experience, saw a lot of faces that were nice to see and caught up on some lives I never knew about. Ten years passed by so quick, so much has changed, of course everybody moves off in their own paths and often most of us really could care less where the other people are heading or ending up. But It really was nice, at least once in 10 years, to talk to people and see where they are in life.

It reassures me that I love this giant spider web of stories, and its sad so many stories go untold and are forgotten.

hmm....

-Nathan.. She Loves me very much even though i like to pee on her when she takes my diapers off! She was very tired here... after 12 hours of being at the hospital with everyone's help, me, my dad, my mom, the doctor and all my family and friends who came to cheer us on... i finally came into this world! My mom was the most brave of all, she lost a lot of blood and almost died, i had to spend the night in the nursery so mom could get new blood all night and morning!! I was very scared for her, but she's all better and strong now! Some stranger gave her blood, thank you stranger!!! and thank you Doctor for keeping my mom safe! You are a rib from my side, a road not traveled, a beautiful highway of still water.

Never let go of this all trusting heart i hope I'm about to hand you. You may wake up some mornings with it being bruised from others amusement or swelling from others attention, do not ever let any of this callous the soft and forgiving skin of your heart.
For this my little friend is my definition to you, I, as your dad, have always needed proof, i do not need organization in my daily moral, i do not need an almanac of poorly written translations to stamp a smile on my face. I remain the happiest i have ever been when i realized the true and final meaning of love and religion is forgiveness.

If your life endeavors lead you to hurt and heartache, forget it, forgive, forgive your self, and move on, for then you are always the better.

Do not stop asking questions, do not stop wondering how a ball of dough becomes a loaf of bread, how a mountain side of snow becomes a flourishing green forest, if you have a dream then fall in love with it, grab it, and run with it.

With every little pulse of blood through your golden veins you have access to something most people forget they have, access to something more important than knowledge, something every child rockets him self into space with ... your imagination... equally as important as any theory Einstein presented to the world. Do not lose sight of this, do not let the daily routine of reality and imagination become two different definitions.

and now comes my selfish bit...

A wise person once told me its not easy to make a mark in this infinite world of white whales, but you, my little monster, made a big mark with out yet entering this emotion torn earth air.

You are my Giant and you are my Lion...

Thank you little Rivers, you opened my heart to that quaint spark of incredible, to that Giant leap of a miracle, to that blissful Roar of love.

Sincerely,
Your back support for life.
-Nayt

"For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams"

Today, being the day it is... i thought I'd share a wonderful poem, by one of the best:

Dream within a Dream

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! type='text'>Heels Keep.

So you can leave it to me to pull something like this off!!!

A few weeks ago i hear of this competition from Squatters Brewery.

"Design our newest Beer Label!"

So i thought, hmmm... that might be fun.
I work on it here and there through the last few weeks, and come yesterday its due.
So of course i scratch my original idea and start anew when i returned home from work last night.

I was proud of my self, i finished it AND got it submitted on time!

The beer is gonna be called "Hells Keep" its a style of beer that always references the Devil and Hell. It was originally brewed in Belgium, and named Devul (meaning Devilin), is quite heavily hopped to give a floral nose and a tangy, fruity finish. Typically, such brews undergo three fermentations, the final one being in
the bottle, resulting in fine champagne‐like carbonation, and a huge rocky white head when they are poured. Often such beers can be cellared for six months to a year to gain roundness.

I had a lot of fun with this, and got a lot done in a course of a few hours last night, but obviously i worked too hard and was too tired to pay to much attention to Details, even the most important part, SPELLING THE DAMN NAME OF THE BEER.

<a onblur="try share.
Some can relate and some cannot, some can say "i completely understand", some can say "i cant wait"...

But this is brand new to me, and as far as I'm concerned (selfish or not) I feel like I'm the only person to ever feel it.

I've tried to compare something like this to another feeling or moment...
its nothing like being stuck in your favorite song,
its nothing like your favorite ice cream touching the tip of your tongue on a hot summer day,
its nothing like remembering old childhood favorite flower you just received from your loved one
its nothing like anything....

There is nothing like placing my hand on the belly that holds my son.
There is nothing like feeling his tiny foot kick My palm and right then, and every time, right then my gut sky rockets out of my head and i literally can feel it land on the moon, right next to the spaceman's footprint.

I realize i had this deep cavern in my heart that wasn't quite as empty as i expected it to be... its right then, and every time, the heart i didn't know i had bursts out, taking me off guard, plunging romantically with more love any man in this mankind has ever had....
Its like under my palm was everything, every sway of every branch, every blade of plain grass, every bloom of every wild flower and every swirling bumble bee trying to find his treasure and me sitting under this tree my heart sprouted...

<br wear, and coats we don't need any longer in a duffel bag we dont use and gave them to the road home.

again, even though Christmas was yesterday, families are still in need today The parking lot full of cars which scream individual stories, wash me, fix me, admire me, drive me up that charred mountain side and place those beautiful colors in my passenger seat. Birds singing ballads i swear they spent months composing. Oh yes, and the sun, i will never forget just how bright it was....

Now when i arrived at work all of this seemed normal, a normal day, regular cars pulling up to work, the sun is always out on these fall days, covered by clouds or not, the same birds hanging in the dull field beside the parking lot...

and when i returned to work from the doctor, who assured us the worst is one step closer to a very real reality the day changed fast...
the cool breeze on my forehead was beautifully cold,
the leaves turned vivid and swayed on the branches just a little slower,
the crunch of rubber to gravel rang in my ears,
the sun had a glare in my eye like i have never seen real sun light,
the mountain directly in front of me but just out of reach - seemed as a helpless infant who had no choice against those hellish flames...

because today, life, its night windows and its giant hands just made life a bit more real...

We love you all, and thanks for your kind words you planted in my ear today, they have truly, already grown into flowers.

-Nayt

And the thunder rolls.

Biopsy is on Wed at 11am.
and thats all i have to say tonight.

No words

...Just Visuals to tell this story...

Then sit on the end of the dock with 3 scoops of rocky road each!
Watching puffins, founder and mackerel dart back and forth underneath our feet.
Taking the short cut in my back yard to his house, so good ol' Mikey can
give us the best advice any man could to what ever mischief we were getting into.

Then turn to another wall in my box to see Jon...
We'd hop on our bikes and peddle as fast as we could to the tree of life.
Sit on the branches and swear the aura of that tree alone gave us the cure for cancer.
Then we'd play hide and seek with golden roamer, his tail would wag so fast it'd thump against his ribs!
Then we'd camp out in Jon's front yard, sneak away, and be tracked down by his paranoid father to remind us we need to wake up in the morning to play each others rival soccer teams.
later we planned out unstoppable Frisbee plays knowing we were quit possibly the best ever, just to be proven wrong by some crazy Canadians! Oh ya Bryan was there!
Oh Those endless Saturday nights flicking and chasing that dream, i mean that Frisbee, down a fresh cut lawn, it smelt glorious.

Then I'd turn and open up the next window to see Craig...
We'd stay up to 5am in the morning just to show up at the local market to buy freshly baked dough nuts, set them out in the basement and eat them, dripping the jelly on our belly's to make smiley faces and waking up my sister to quit possibly the weirdest look ever.
That didn't stop us laughing, nor did it stop her joining in on our laugh.
Those many nights spent under a strobe light with 'wonder wall' blasting its beauty into our lives as we watched the world revolve around us. Making our way to club 33, we ate possibly the best food ever while the Pirates of the Caribbean sang their Yo Ho's to the average Disney Land attendee.

Then i could open all 3 windows, and see all 4 of us, there was probably a tent pitched in the background, we are all laying down, facing the stars, head next to head next to head next to head in the shape of a red cross. We can all testify to the UFO we saw that night.

Its these kind of things I'm dwelling on now, and realizing I'm right in the middle of another memory where tomorrow I'll think back on and cry in happiness.
The fact that i have the ability to reenact these cherished moments just by thinking about them, i couldn't ask for anything more, because i already have the best thing in the entire world and she's waiting for me to come to bed.

I sincerely miss and love all of you who's left a grain of rice in my head like the one's I've mentioned above, because i couldn't remember anything with out any of you.

-Nayt

Dear Time,

Dear Time,

Remember that time i wrote you a rhyme?
I told you a promise i'd never let go...
remember? Flickr hosts photography and recently they've expanded to hosting video, but only video no longer thatn 90 sec.
The reason for this is to keep it short, simple, when a moment needs a few more seconds, more than just 1 single still picture can tell.
So i keep that in mind, when a moment feels more than just a picture, when 5-10 sec. can explain more than a single picture can and more than 5-10 min. ever could.

I pick and choose what pictures i put on my flickr, and now i can pick and choose what short and tender moments to share.

I hope you enjoy them as much as i do.

F and B

FrankieandBruce
Originally uploaded by Nathan See's It!!
Frankie and Bruce can make anyone smile. :)

these are the 2 newest additions to my family, they are 2 weeks out of pouch and already curious as ever! Its one of those
videos i watch and think 'damn, i wish i did that', and i'm not afraid to admit it. I have some videos on my Google.video and youtube, which this inspired me to post my videos on my Flickr account, which i will then post here. I will attack that later.

Its the simple things in life that make it worth it, like this video, a dog so enthralled by a small piece of ice, the sounds of him stomping upon the cement floor, the concentration in his eyes when the ice slipped from his mouth and made a run for its life.

and also this ....

The young one may have webbed hands like the father, or 3 thumbs like the mother, but either way.... look, just spend 5 seconds looking, just look how simple, how beautiful it is, and yes... its mine.

I have not spread this word, or news to many, for reasons i'll leave to my self. With recent news or lack of news i have decided to open up with this. Our first doctors appointment was exciting, nerve wrecking like your first haunted house yet full of happiness, i left overwhelmed with joy and a sense of 'right', yet i also left with a ominous mark in the back of my mind. The doctor found some abnormalities within the mom and was holding back her concern for our sake, which i thank her for. A few days after the visit the mom was experiencing more abnormal activities, we rushed in for an emergency visit -- and were revealed to see a strong heart beat sending rhythm of relief to our eyes like a beautiful song.

Come a few weeks later we hear back from the tests and blood work, and to my eyes, maybe i read into this to much, more hidden concern from the doctor.

We were told mom has abnormal cells, we will be going in for more tests hopefully to prove these cells are not cancerous.
I'm leaving this part as vague as i can, i do not wish to dwell on that word i just typed.

So this begins the story of my O-So-Small beautiful beautiful monster and my O-So gorgeous carrier, and me, a want to be coach, sitting on the side lines utterly helpless.

The sky never seemed so grey.

Best to all.
-Nayt

A plea for a cat.

I just really wanted to share this song by one of my favorite writers...
